Government statistics. Capital flow charts. Currency movements. Asset correlations. Central bank balance sheets.<\/p>\n<p>The kind of data most people never look at, and honestly, the kind I usually delegate.<\/p>\n<p>But this time was different.<\/p>\n<p>Because for the <strong>first time in my career<\/strong>, the patterns I was seeing forced me to seriously re-evaluate how I run my businesses and how I protect my own money.<\/p>\n<p>I run an American company doing over <strong>$100 million in revenue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And I\u2019ve come to a conclusion I never expected to reach:<\/p>\n<p><strong>I can no longer afford to have my financial life overly concentrated in America.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s happening globally is moving <strong>much faster<\/strong> than people realize. These are <strong>not opinions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>They are facts.<\/p>\n<p>The Currency Signals:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>U.S. dollar fell 11% in the first half of 2025<\/strong>, its <strong>worst drop since 1973<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Major banks, including Morgan Stanley, forecast <strong>another 10\u201320% decline through 2027<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Global Capital Signals:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foreign ownership of U.S. Treasuries has dropped from <strong>50% to 33%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Central banks are buying gold at the <strong>fastest pace in modern history<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gold rose 55% in 2025<\/strong>, crossing <strong>$4,000 per ounce<\/strong> for the first time ever.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bitcoin fell 6.3%<\/strong> in the same period, after crashing <strong>23.5% from its peak<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Market Behavior Signals:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>International stocks outperformed the S&amp;P 500 for the first time in 15 years<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>S&amp;P 500 is now 35% concentrated in just seven stocks<\/strong> \u2014 the highest concentration on record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hiring is slowing. Unemployment is ticking up. Capital spending is becoming more cautious.<\/p>\n<p>Again: These aren\u2019t narratives. They\u2019re <strong>signals<\/strong>.<em> (learn more about these signals below.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And together, they tell a very clear story:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The world is rebalancing away from U.S.-centric risk.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-this-is-not-politics-it-s-risk-management\">This Is Not Politics. It\u2019s Risk Management.<\/h2>\n<p>I want to be explicit here.<\/p>\n<p>This is not about ideology. It\u2019s not about liking or disliking America. It\u2019s not about being \u201canti\u201d anything.<\/p>\n<p>Markets don\u2019t punish. They <strong>diversify<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>What we\u2019re seeing is the global system hedging against <strong>unpredictability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Global capital doesn\u2019t respond to ideology; it responds to unpredictability.<\/p>\n<p>And any administration that shifts policy rapidly creates volatility in trade, alliances, and markets.<\/p>\n<p>Investors outside the U.S. can hedge against that unpredictability.<\/p>\n<p>Americans, however, remain fully exposed to it.<\/p>\n<p>And in markets,<strong> three years of uncertainty is an eternity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I hear this a lot: <em>\u201cIt\u2019s temporary. It\u2019ll pass.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>But businesses fail in <strong>12\u201324 months<\/strong>.<br \/>Portfolios get reshaped in <strong>months<\/strong>, not decades.<br \/>Capital allocation decisions made today compound for a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>Waiting for clarity is not neutrality. It\u2019s a bet.<\/p>\n<p>And historically, it\u2019s not a great one.<\/p>\n<p>The goal in times like this isn\u2019t prediction. It\u2019s <strong>optionality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-dollar-was-never-just-currency-the-currency-signal\">The Dollar Was Never Just Currency <em>(the currency signal)<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>The U.S. dollar isn\u2019t just money. It\u2019s <strong>trust infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It works because the world assumes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Policy changes will be gradual<\/li>\n<li>Alliances will be respected<\/li>\n<li>Rules won\u2019t change overnight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When that trust weakens, capital doesn\u2019t run screaming.<\/p>\n<p>It quietly reallocates.<\/p>\n<p>Into euros, gold, international assets, and jurisdictions that feel boring, stable, and predictable.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what\u2019s happening now.<\/p>\n<p>If all of your savings, income, and assets are denominated in U.S. dollars simply because \u201cthat\u2019s what we\u2019ve always done,\u201d you may be taking on more risk than you realize.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-watch-what-people-do-not-what-they-say-the-market-behavior-signal\">Watch What People Do \u2014 Not What They Say <em>(the market behavior signal)<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>Another mistake people make is listening to rhetoric instead of behavior.<\/p>\n<p>The rebalancing always shows up in behavior before it appears in headlines.<\/p>\n<p>So watch behavior.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International visitors are declining.<\/li>\n<li>Foreign student enrollment is falling.<\/li>\n<li>Capital is rotating into Europe and Asia.<\/li>\n<li>Central banks are hoarding gold, quietly, aggressively, without press conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No one announced a boycott. No one coordinated a protest.<\/p>\n<p>These are <strong>millions of independent decisions<\/strong> converging on the same conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>That convergence is the signal.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gold-bitcoin-and-the-question-everyone-is-asking-me-the-global-capital-signal\">Gold, Bitcoin, and the Question Everyone Is Asking Me <em>(the global capital signal)<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>People keep asking:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cShould I buy Bitcoin or gold?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s my framework:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gold rises<\/strong> when people lose faith in leadership and institutions<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bitcoin rises<\/strong> when people lose faith in government itself<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Right now, gold is surging. Bitcoin is not.<\/p>\n<p>That tells us something subtle but important.<\/p>\n<p>People still believe in governance. They don\u2019t believe in <strong>competent, predictable leadership<\/strong> everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why gold, the oldest institutional hedge, is winning.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s why I\u2019ve made a decision across my own companies:<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are no longer storing excess reserves purely in U.S. dollars.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are diversifying into:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gold<\/li>\n<li>Gold index funds<\/li>\n<li>Gold and silver exposure outside the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Companies in Dubai are already doing this.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re simply catching up.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-i-built-the-great-rebalancing\">Why I Built <em>The Great Rebalancing<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>I built <strong>The Great Rebalancing<\/strong> because I needed clarity for myself.
