As part of this project, I have read a\u00a0variety of your books and other resources on Ayurveda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the process, I\u00a0became greatly interested in the ideas of nonlocality and its application\u00a0to mind, body, and spirit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it possible to relate the ideas of Ayurveda to the concept of nonlocality in this sense?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Ayurveda itself is based on the primacy of consciousness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The nonlocal realm of consciousness is composed of the immaterial forces and principles of nature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The basis of Ayurveda is that health comes from reestablishing the balance in the body from these nonmaterial, nonlocal principles that underlie it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pure consciousness through its self-interacting motion, gives rise to the duality of Purusha and Prakriti\u2014silence and energy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From there the principle of individuality emerges with its three-part nature of sattva, rajas and tamas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That in turn gives rise to the fivefold elements of akasha, tejas, vayu, jala, and prithivi which constitute the physical universe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vata, pitta and kapha are all nonlocal principles associated with these elements that have their local manifestations and seats in various parts of the body.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So a proper evaluation of Ayurveda requires a thorough knowledge of the nonlocal domain of consciousness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
