Get ruthless about your mornings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The way you start your day sets the tone for everything else.<br \/>Most people wake up and immediately go into reaction mode.<br \/>They check their phone, scroll through notifications, and within five minutes, their brain is flooded with other people\u2019s priorities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can\u2019t lead your business if you start the day reacting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Instead, build a simple morning protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s mine:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wake up at the same time every day (for me, that\u2019s 4:45am)<\/li>\n<li>No phone for the first 30\u201360 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Pray, give thanks, and get centered<\/li>\n<li>Coffee<\/li>\n<li>Start my most important task before the noise begins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Do this for a week and watch how your mental clarity shifts.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Remove the dopamine drip<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Your phone is not neutral.<\/p>\n<p>It is literally engineered to hijack your attention, flood your brain with dopamine, and keep you in a loop of shallow stimulation.<\/p>\n<p>So stop pretending you\u2019re going to \u201cjust check one thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Put your phone in another room when you\u2019re doing deep work.<br \/>Use screen limiters or grayscale mode.<br \/>Better yet, get a Brick device to block distracting apps during work hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The goal is simple: stop rewarding your brain for being distracted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Set focus boundaries\u2014then defend them like your life depends on it<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you don\u2019t block time for deep work, shallow work will devour your entire day.<\/p>\n<p>I teach my clients to use \u201cFocus Blocks\u201d\u201490-minute, uninterrupted sessions for high-value tasks.<\/p>\n<p>No meetings.<br \/>No notifications.<br \/>No BS.<\/p>\n<p>Even if you start with just one of these a day, you\u2019ll immediately feel the difference.<\/p>\n<p>Your brain will resist at first. That\u2019s normal.<br \/>But with repetition, it learns:<br \/>\u201cThis is when we focus. This is when we get it done.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. One tab. One task. One outcome.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Multitasking is a lie.<\/p>\n<p>Every time you context-switch, you\u2019re lighting your mental energy on fire and calling it \u201cproductivity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you want to rebuild your ability to focus:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work on one thing at a time. One browser tab. One task. One clear outcome.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This sounds almost insultingly simple.<br \/>But the simplicity <em>is<\/em> the point.<br \/>Because your brain needs the reps of completion\u2014not chaos.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5.
