For years, I kept myself broke.<\/p>\n

Not because I lacked ambition. Not because the work wasn’t good. My business was growing. The opportunities were real. But something kept pulling me back: undercharging, second-guessing, walking away from deals that should have been easy.<\/p>\n

I never chose that belief. A confused kid absorbed a pattern from someone he loved, and it ran silently in the background of every financial decision I made for the next thirty years.<\/p>\n

That’s the thing about the code underneath your behavior. You don’t choose it. You inherit it. And until you find it, you can grind on your habits all you want; the code always wins.<\/p>\n
