Minimalism helps us discover how little we actually need.<\/p>\n<p>Minimalism is better in my opinion, but almost no one can move toward owning less without some decluttering along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of what you want to call it or how much progress you want to make, if you are ready to put in some effort decluttering unnecessary possessions from your home, you\u2019ll love the change.<\/p>\n<h2>Here are 23 things you can delcutter from your home:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Unused or old power cords and chargers<\/p>\n<p>2. Extra hangers that are taking up space<\/p>\n<p>3. Shoes that are worn out or no longer used<\/p>\n<p>4. Old towels and linens<\/p>\n<p>5. Games\/Puzzles with missing pieces<\/p>\n<p>6. Old and expired medications<\/p>\n<p>7. Magazines and newspapers that have been read<\/p>\n<p>8. Expired food from fridge or pantry<\/p>\n<p>9. CDs and DVDs<\/p>\n<p>10. Books that you\u2019ve already read and are unlikely to read again<\/p>\n<p>11. Old and expired makeup<\/p>\n<p>12. Broken or outdated jewelry<\/p>\n<p>13. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.becomingminimalist.com\/101-physical-things-that-can-be-reduced-in-your-home\/\">Duplicates of household items<\/a>, such as scissors or pens<\/p>\n<p>14. Unnecessary paperwork, such as old bills or receipts<\/p>\n<p>15. Outdated, obsolete, or broken electronics<\/p>\n<p>16. Old and worn out pillows, sheets, and towels in your linen closet<\/p>\n<p>17. Cleaning products you no longer use<\/p>\n<p>18. Unused sporting or exercise equipment<\/p>\n<p>19. Old candles that haven\u2019t been used in years<\/p>\n<p>20. Unused pet toys<\/p>\n<p>21. Take-out sauce packets, napkins, and menus<\/p>\n<p>22. Outdated decor items no longer displayed in your home<\/p>\n<p>23.
