\u201cWhen I read a related book or take part in your group meditation I seem to reach a point where I feel that I have grasped \u2018it\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

I feel that I\u2019m almost there, almost free but connected but then when back to my life the feeling drifts away some.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I live in England and I would like to meet some like-minded people who share your teaching and therefore, help each other to stay in reality, here and now, in gratitude.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am getting older and have been struggling to find the freedom of spirituality and my reality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Response:<\/strong><\/p>\n

When we have deep spiritual insight or inspiration we might feel if we could just nudge it a bit further or intellectually reinforce it, we could cement that state of awareness or reality and make it permanent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But that\u2019s only partially true.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Connecting with like-minded people and situations that support and cultivate open awareness will make you more familiar with your real nature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But when we attempt to achieve this state of awakening as a kind of mental project that we will attain through effort in the future, we are subtly rejecting the present state of awareness and the situation we are living right now.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This presence of awareness \u2014 what we are experiencing right now \u2014 is our true self.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This quiet awareness in the background of all our thoughts and feelings is the self-awareness that our spiritual inspiration has glimpsed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We don\u2019t need to be in different circumstances or go to a time in the future to have that, we only need to relax and settle into that presence which is always right here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want more people around who can help remind you of this truth, simply desire that and Nature will organize situations and open pathways that will support your intention.<\/span><\/p>\n
