  1. Your expectations don\u2019t just influence your destiny, they determine it. <\/strong><\/span>Watch what you believe because your beliefs have a way of becoming your reality.<\/li>\n
  2. Everything you do today will impact your tomorrow. <\/strong><\/span>Your life is determined by the sum of the choices<\/a> that you make.<\/li>\n
  3. Be a good person. Everything else is secondary. <\/strong><\/span>Virtue isn\u2019t demanding more of others; it\u2019s expecting more of yourself.<\/li>\n
  4. The best investment you can make is in yourself.<\/strong><\/span> Do you make as much effort exercising your mind<\/em><\/a> as your body<\/em>?<\/li>\n
  5. What makes you think your neighbor knows better?<\/strong><\/span> When you constantly seek approval, you give more weight to another person\u2019s opinion than to your own.<\/li>\n
  6. Instant gratification does not guarantee lifelong happiness.<\/strong><\/span> Don\u2019t let a brief moment of happiness leave you with a lifetime of regret.<\/li>\n
  7. Surround yourself with positive people; their energy is contagious.<\/strong><\/span> Keeping bad company<\/a> is like being in a germ-infested area. You never know what you\u2019ll catch.<\/li>\n
  8. Never lower your standards. Never!<\/strong><\/span> People can\u2019t make you do things without your permission.<\/li>\n
  9. Listen to your conscience. That\u2019s why you have one.<\/strong><\/span> The problem with compromising your principles is that everyone likes you except yourself.<\/li>\n
  10. Success comes at a cost. <\/strong><\/span>Everything worthwhile in life requires an element of sacrifice. Judge your successes by the sacrifices made to achieve them.<\/li>\n
  11. Hard work is good for your soul.<\/strong><\/span> The greatest reward of success isn\u2019t the money or acclaim; it\u2019s the confidence and self-respect that success brings with it.<\/li>\n
  12. Ability determines if you can; attitude determines if you will. <\/strong><\/span>A poor choice or misjudgment is unintentional,<\/em> while a poor attitude<\/a> is a deliberate<\/em> choice.<\/li>\n
  13. If you believe you can\u2019t, you won\u2019t.<\/strong><\/span> If you stop focusing on all the reasons why you can\u2019t do something, you just may surprise yourself to see what you can do.<\/li>\n
  14. Inner peace is a byproduct of how you choose to live your life.<\/strong><\/span> Care not only about where life is taking you, but about how you\u2019re getting there as well.<\/li>\n
  15. If you don\u2019t start<\/em>, you\u2019ll never finish.<\/strong><\/span> The first step in winning is the willingness to try.<\/li>\n
  16. A great start doesn\u2019t always guarantee a great finish.<\/strong><\/span> Success is not guaranteed, it\u2019s temporary.<\/li>\n
  17. You don\u2019t have to be<\/em> the best, but you should always do<\/em> your best.<\/strong><\/span> Always give 110%. It\u2019s the extra 10% that everyone remembers.<\/li>\n
  18. If you want to share in the rewards, share in the work.<\/strong><\/span> If you\u2019re not willing to make the commitment, don\u2019t complain about the outcome.<\/li>\n
  19. Trying comes before wanting<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/span> You don\u2019t <\/em>get what you want; you get what you deserve.<\/li>\n
  20. It\u2019s hard to demand equality and expect special treatment.<\/strong><\/span> Rewards are meaningless if they\u2019re not deserved.<\/li>\n
  21. Incremental progress leads to long-lasting results.<\/strong><\/span> Measuring progress is often like watching grass grow. While it\u2019s difficult to detect a difference daily, it\u2019s simple to see growth over time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
