Want to give your kids the best chances in life? One powerful way to do that is by sharing meaningful experiences and important principles with them. By doing so, you\u2019re not just imparting knowledge; you\u2019re sculpting their character<\/a>, equipping them with vital skills, and guiding them along the twists and turns of life. As Louis L\u2019Amour, the American novelist, said<\/em>, <\/em><\/strong>\u201c<\/strong>Knowledge is like money: To be of value it must circulate, and in circulating it can increase in quantity and, hopefully, in value.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

  9. Being a perfectionist is far from perfect.<\/strong><\/span> Hold yourself up to a high standard, not an impossible one.<\/li>\n
  10. Requesting help is beneficial but be careful it doesn\u2019t become an addiction.<\/strong><\/span> Be strong enough to stand on your own two feet, but wise enough to know when to ask for help.<\/li>\n
  11. People will test you in small ways before trusting you outright.<\/strong><\/span> When you exaggerate a story, you weaken your credibility.<\/li>\n
  12. Greatness isn\u2019t determined by the number of promises that you make, but by the ones that you keep.<\/strong><\/span> A good intention is like an idea that you keep to yourself. If you don\u2019t do something with it, it\u2019s like it never existed.<\/li>\n
  13. It\u2019s not what<\/em> you give, but rather that<\/em> you give<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/span> You don\u2019t have to be rich to give; your gift can be as simple as a smile.<\/li>\n
  14. Living beyond your means is a high price to pay.<\/span> <\/strong>When you run out of money \u2013\u2013 stop buying.<\/li>\n
  15. If you appreciate what you have, you\u2019ll never want for more.<\/strong><\/span> Most people are so busy chasing things they don\u2019t have, that they fail to appreciate the things they do.<\/li>\n
  16. Jealousy zaps energy.<\/strong><\/span> If the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, chances are it\u2019s getting better care.<\/li>\n
  17. Money is only one form of wealth.<\/strong><\/span> Money can buy things<\/em>, but it can\u2019t buy everything.<\/li>\n
  18. It\u2019s so easy to lose sight of the things that you can\u2019t see.<\/strong><\/span> Some of the most precious things you possess are your honor, your dignity, and your reputation.<\/li>\n
  19. Don\u2019t believe everything you think.<\/strong><\/span> If it won\u2019t matter in a year or two, it\u2019s not worth the worry.<\/li>\n
  20. If you don\u2019t believe in yourself, why should others?<\/strong><\/span> At the end of the day, if you\u2019re not proud of who you are and the way you choose to live your life, little else matters.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
