I love my wife.<\/p>\n

Because while in many ways we\u2019re the same\u2026<\/p>\n

In some other ways we\u2019re so different.<\/p>\n

Particularly when it comes to adventure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For me, a wild and crazy time is sitting in a different chair while I work. (\u201cOh wow, this is what it looks like from the other side of the kitchen table. Cool.\u201d)<\/p>\n

But Michelle is the Queen of Adventure.<\/p>\n

She loves dragging me out the house and going to waterparks, roller coasters, Vegas shows, Costa Rica for 48 hours, etc.<\/p>\n

All of these \u2013 of course \u2013 end up being amazing memories and totally worth leaving my little bubble.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So in classic Michelle fashion\u2026<\/p>\n

Baby Jack\u2019s not even here yet and she has already booked herself in for the Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll half-marathon in Vegas for next February.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And she\u2019s booked our family of 5 (with 3 under 3!) on a trip to Lake Como and Monaco after next May\u2019s Mastermind.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not the coolest thing about the big trip\u2026 I\u2019ll leave that fun fact for the end of today\u2019s update.<\/p>\n

For now, we gotta get serious.<\/p>\n

I also must tell you that if you want to grow your business and get bigger checks from clients all while working less, then you have to stop being so INSANE.<\/p>\n

Remember\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThe definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.\u201d<\/p>\n

How many times have you said that to someone?<\/p>\n

And yet\u2026<\/p>\n

If I were to look at your business plan for the rest of 2024\u2026<\/p>\n

How much different would it be than your business plan for 2023? And 2022? And 2021?<\/p>\n

It\u2019d probably be\u00a0same-same<\/em>, or maybe incrementally \u201cmore\u201d.<\/p>\n

So if you made a million last year, and your goal is $1.1 million next year\u2026<\/p>\n

That means you won\u2019t be asking the right questions\u2026 and growth will be hard.<\/p>\n

You see there\u2019s a bit of a paradox here\u2026<\/p>\n

Aiming for incremental change is inefficient\u2026 and often ineffective.<\/p>\n

When you aim for incremental\u2026<\/p>\n

You ask the same questions. You get the same answers. You get the same results.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You end up \u201cstruckling\u201d.<\/p>\n

Stuck.<\/p>\n

Struggling.<\/p>\n

Spinning your wheels.<\/p>\n

Frustrated knowing that \u201cyou should be so much further ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, most people don\u2019t use the frustration to fuel a new way of thinking.<\/p>\n

They just go back to banging their head against the wall of \u201caiming for incrementally more\u201d.<\/p>\n

Same questions. Same answers. Same results. Same feelings of frustration.<\/p>\n

But if you want radically different results, you must ask radically different questions.<\/p>\n
