When you can do this, your sales and marketing become more effective\u2026<\/p>\n

Because your prospect feels understood.<\/p>\n

When they feel understood by someone, they like and trust that person more.<\/p>\n

When someone knows, likes, and trusts you, they are much more likely to buy from you.<\/p>\n

For example\u2026<\/p>\n

Most of our clients are here because I entered the conversation in your mind\u2026<\/p>\n

One day you were scrolling Instagram or Facebook.<\/p>\n

It was probably the end of a long day (or week)\u2026<\/p>\n

You were feeling overwhelmed and scrolling to \u201crelax\u201d<\/p>\n

But part of your brain was thinking about all the work you had to do tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n

One of my ads popped up\u2026<\/p>\n

It talked about how\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re scrolling because you\u2019re overwhelmed, and you want to get more done, then you need to stop your long morning routine and use this simple 15 minute routine instead. It\u2019s so easy that it even worked for a drunk farmer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now I\u2019m sure \u201cdrunk farmers\u201d were not part of your internal dialogue prior to seeing my ad, haha.<\/p>\n

But the rest of what I said in my ads \u201chit the mark\u201d.<\/p>\n

I caught your Attention.<\/p>\n

I talked about your Interest.<\/p>\n

I stimulated Desire.<\/p>\n

I convinced you to Act.<\/p>\n

AIDA \u2013 Attention, Interest, Desire, Action<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the AIDA formula of copywriting.<\/p>\n

When you combine\u00a0AIDA with entering the conversation in the prospect\u2019s mind\u2026<\/p>\n

Through your social media posts, advertisements, email newsletters, etc\u2026<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when you breakthrough to the customer and get them to buy.<\/p>\n

This is all part of copywriting.<\/p>\n

People always ask me how to get rich.<\/p>\n

There are so many options hyped up on social media these days.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Professional Speaker? Living out of hotels & airports<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lawyer? Taking calls 24\/7<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Writing books? Lol. There\u2019s no money in just writing books. (Another story for another day)<\/p>\n

So what then is the best way to make a lot of money without sacrificing your freedom?<\/p>\n

Copywriting is my weapon of choice.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong\u2026<\/p>\n

You\u2019re still going to work when you use copywriting\u2026 it\u2019s simple, but not easy.<\/p>\n

You control the hours, your coffee breaks, your cut-off times\u2026<\/p>\n

You pick your \u201coffice\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

(I\u2019m writing from\u00a0Lucky\u2019s\u00a0donut shop in Vancouver while sipping one of their excellent cappuccino\u2019s and eating a donut \u2013 what type? I\u2019ll leave that to your imagination.\u00a0)<\/p>\n

Copywriting is a skill that transfers to every aspect of your life\u2026<\/p>\n

From writing sales letters, video scripts and emails to make money\u2026<\/p>\n

To writing love letters, Tinder profiles, romantic DM\u2019s, and apology notes in your love life.<\/p>\n

Yes, copywriting works for trades (plumbers, etc.) \u2013 memorable quotes for your business cards and the sides of your work vans\u2026 that lead to more calls to your company.<\/p>\n

Yes, copywriting works for personal trainers and coaches \u2013 helping you differentiate and standout in a sea of competition, so you attract clients<\/p>\n

Yes, copywriting works for book titles, course names, etc.<\/p>\n

Look at Millionaire Morning Routine, Social Story Selling, Effortless Discipline, Perfect Day Formula, and whatever other course and book title I created that brought you here!<\/p>\n

Yes, copywriting works for pastors, chefs, YouTubers, lawyers, doctors, teachers, journalists, accountants and bookkeepers, and even the Army.<\/p>\n

(Fun Fact:\u00a0Earl Carter working for the N. W. Ayer Advertising Agency as a Senior Copywriter created the \u201cBe All You Can Be\u201d theme line in 1980 that the Army used for 40 years.)<\/p>\n
