There should only be one moneyball stat that drives the success of your business. Double down on that moneyball stat as that will be the biggest indicator of your growth\/success<\/p>\n

\u2013 Idiot Index\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 What\u2019s taking your company too long or costing your company too much money? Stop being an idiot and solve it or cut it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a05 Top Client Questions\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Identify the top 5 questions your business gets from potential clients. Once you identify those questions, write an article on those top 5 questions answering them, and then put that on your website. People desire transparency and authenticity these days.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a05 Minute Assessment \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Create a simple 5 minute assessment your audience can take that provides them a score, and then you show them how you can increase their score with your systems, coaching, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Insecurity & Imposter Syndrome Solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of my clients runs a successful coaching business and said:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMy child goes to a very affluent school. The parents of the other kids are wealthy and intelligent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like an imposter in this setting as I don\u2019t have a big \u2018job\u2019 and I make a lot less money\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like crap after every school social event and I want to stop feeling this way as it is my own insecurity. My child is getting an amazing education and loves it there. Any mindset advice?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

CB\u2019s Reply:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I understand how you feel.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve found myself in a lot of rooms over the years where I felt out place\u2026<\/p>\n

From being around big name $100 million dollar internet marketers or 9-figure Bitcoin entrepreneurs making 100x\u2019s more money than me\u2026 and who all seem to have \u201ceverything figured out\u201d.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to be hard on ourselves in those situations.<\/p>\n

To feel unworthy\u2026 like we don\u2019t belong.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not helpful.<\/p>\n

I have some help.<\/p>\n

But first, before I answer your mindset question directly, let\u2019s look at what is this here to teach you about your coaching business\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The answer to my question is that many people attend your coaching business events feeling \u201cunworthy\u201d.<\/p>\n

It might be one of the reasons they don\u2019t buy your coaching programs!<\/p>\n

They look around the room and think, \u201cEveryone else is better, smarter, more advanced, and richer than me. I\u2019m not good enough to join this coaching program.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s your job as a coach\u2013 at all your future events \u2013 to spend extra time making sure that everyone in the room feels comfortable. They need to know they are in the right place.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You and I both know what you\u2019d say to them:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere you are in your business right now doesn\u2019t matter\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat matters is where you\u2019re going, and the impact you\u2019re having\u2026 and will have!<\/p>\n

\u201cSuccess is about character and determination.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see that in you, and I believe in you.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you follow the plan we create for you, you\u2019ll succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Gosh, doesn\u2019t that sound like good advice we should all take?)
<\/em><\/p>\n

Second, before we think about how you are to deal with your current feeling\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remember, the number one reason your daughter is at this school is for her.<\/p>\n

Does she love it? Yes, she does!<\/p>\n

Does she love the people? Sounds like it!<\/p>\n

Is she flourishing? Sounds like it too!<\/p>\n

So what else matters?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Third, of course your feelings matter, too. So let\u2019s address that\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are all children of God.<\/p>\n

In God\u2019s eyes, money doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n

Having a \u201cjob\u201d doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n

(In fact, God might smile more upon those of us that make our own schedules!).<\/em><\/p>\n

God put everyone on earth to play a role.<\/p>\n

Your goal is to become more comfortable in your role as a coach\u2026<\/p>\n

And let those wealthier lawyers, Wall Street types, etc. play their role.<\/p>\n

Your job is to become comfortable in your own skin.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bedros and I talk about this early in our podcast here<\/a><\/p>\n

As he\u2019s grown older, he says that is one of the best things he\u2019s achieved in life is being comfortable in his own skin.<\/p>\n

Someone who is comfortable in their own skin doesn\u2019t worry about what others think of them\u2026<\/p>\n

They know who they are, and they act accordingly\u2026 not to impress others, but to live a good life.<\/p>\n

Remember:<\/p>\n

Everyone has flaws.<\/p>\n

Everyone has insecurities.<\/p>\n

But what is a flaw to us (\u201cno job\u201d) is a goal in the eyes of others.<\/p>\n

Everyone in that room at your daughter\u2019s school is probably insecure.<\/p>\n

The BMW guy looks at the Rolls Royce guy and feels jealousy.<\/p>\n

The divorced dads look at the married dads with envy.<\/p>\n

One guy makes a million but the guy beside him makes two.<\/p>\n

The bald guys are ashamed to be around guys like you with hair!<\/p>\n

Almost everyone is sitting there mired in the muck of comparison syndrome.<\/p>\n

Everyone except for those few who are comfortable in their own skin.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not but rejoices for those which he has.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u2015 Epictetus<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget to be grateful for what you have\u2026<\/p>\n

You are fit.<\/p>\n

You are married.<\/p>\n

You are a successful entrepreneur.<\/p>\n

And anyone who has a million-dollar net worth is one of just 60 million millionaires in the world\u2026 that makes up less than 1% of the world\u2019s population.<\/p>\n

You are part of the 1%.<\/p>\n

And most important, you have a daughter that loves her school\u2026 and her dad.<\/p>\n

Bottom Line:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the eyes of God and in the grand scheme of the Universe\u2026<\/p>\n

We are all specks of dust on a tiny planet in a small galaxy amongst the 2 trillion galaxies in an ever-expanding universe.<\/p>\n

And one day, we\u2019ll be dead\u2026 and we won\u2019t feel any insecurity.<\/p>\n

Much better to be alive today (and a little insecure) so that we can be working on ourselves.<\/p>\n

Maybe I didn\u2019t answer your question, but I feel better after that rambling!\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
