People often lament the current state of the world: Leaders divide us to cling to power, bullying is rampant, and our work ethic<\/a> seems to be waning. Many seek rewards without earning them, while virtues like trust, respect<\/a>, kindness<\/a>, and tolerance<\/a> are more talked about than practiced. Family, faith, and patriotism are increasingly rare. The list goes on. Just as we reboot a computer to fix technical issues, it\u2019s time for us to hit the reset button on society.<\/p>\n

What was once unimaginable is now commonplace. We live in a topsy-turvy world where the line between right and wrong is increasingly blurred. If you\u2019re wondering whether you\u2019re the only one noticing this, rest assured, you\u2019re not. Sometimes, it feels like witnessing a disaster that is unfolding in slow motion. Is this the world you want to leave for future generations?<\/p>\n

This is not a political statement; it\u2019s a cry for help.<\/em><\/p>\n

Change Begins with You<\/h3>\n

If we abandon our values, we may soon discover that our world has become unrecognizable. We have a choice: We can complain about the problem or act. That\u2019s where the reset button comes into play.<\/p>\n

Complaining isn\u2019t a substitute for action.<\/p>\n

You may be thinking, \u201cI\u2019m only one person. What can I do?\u201d<\/p>\n

First, don\u2019t wait for someone to make the first move. Be the change that you want to see in the world.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to change the world,
but you could change the world around you.<\/p>\n

The world is changing every day. If enough people create ripples of change, we can build a brighter future. One person can start things off; a second can build some momentum; a third person might inspire others to join in. And before you know it, you\u2019ve sparked a movement.<\/p>\n

Be the person whose character is beyond reproach<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 someone who lives with honor and integrity<\/a>, exhibits a strong work ethic, stays true to their values, and chooses what\u2019s right over what\u2019s convenient.<\/p>\n

Be the person others admire<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 someone positive and uplifting, known for honesty<\/a>, fairness, and objectivity, who stands up against injustice, and whose promises are as binding as a contract.<\/p>\n

Be the person who brings out the best in others<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 someone who makes people feel valued, brightens their day, and makes a meaningful impact on their lives.<\/p>\n

Be the person who leads by example<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 someone who sets high standards, takes responsibility<\/a> for their actions, and inspires others to achieve excellence.<\/p>\n

Instead of following the masses, follow your conscience.<\/p>\n

Many have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms that we cherish. What will you do to honor their legacy? You have a choice \u2014 you can complain about what\u2019s wrong in the world or be the person who helps make it right. There\u2019s a vast difference between right and wrong. It\u2019s our duty to remind those who have forgotten. Our future depends on our children\u2026and the future of your children depends on you. It\u2019s time to hit the reset button.<\/p>\n
