The Webinar

There is actually an option with Zoom webinars to disable
\nthe need for webinar attendees to register at all. You do not want to choose
\nthis option. Always make your attendees register for your webinars.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are setting up the webinar registration process you
\nwill have 2 options when it comes to approving the people that you want in your

Once a registrant is approved to attend the webinar they
\nwill automatically receive an email from Zoom notifying them of the joining
\ninstructions. You can customize all webinar emails that are sent out and even
\nchoose not to send some emails. We recommend that you let all of the emails go
\nout as they are designed to encourage maximum attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n

All webinar registrants will need to complete a form to
\nregister. As a minimum the form will require that they enter their name and
\nemail address. You can ask for other information too such as the industry they
\nare in, their telephone number, their job title and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you already have a list of people you want to invite to
\nyour webinar then you can create a CSV file and automatically import these into
\nthe Zoom webinar platform. Each row must include the attendees name and their
\nemail address or they will not be accepted.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can customize your registration form and you should do
\nthis. Add any branding to the form such as your logo and change the form them
\nif you want to. Zoom will provide a default description which you can change to
\nmake this more appealing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Schedule your Webinar

It is not difficult to schedule a Zoom webinar but you will
\nneed to make some decisions and provide accurate details. Sign in to your Zoom
\nweb portal and then select \u201cWebinars\u201d. If you have scheduled any webinars
\nbefore you will see a list here. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now go to the \u201cSchedule a Webinar\u201d tab which will take you
\nto the screen for webinar settings. The first thing to do is to provide a title
\nfor your webinar and then add an enticing description. You will need to enter
\nthe date and start time and an estimated duration time for the webinar.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you plan to run the same webinar often, which you should

Zoom is a great platform that you can use to grow your
\nbusiness. Unfortunately not everyone uses it right and they end up with Zoom
\nevents that do not achieve their goals. In this article we will discuss the
\nmost common mistakes that people make with Zoom meetings so that you can avoid
\nthem and get the best results.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Not Planning your
\nZoom Event<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

While it is sometimes OK to just have a one to one Zoom call
\nwith someone without any planning, it is a different story if you are
\nscheduling a meeting with a number of participants or a webinar.<\/span><\/p>\n

You need to decide what you want to achieve with your
\nmeetings before you hold them. If you don\u2019t do this then it is very easy to
\nwander all over the place leaving your attendees totally confused.<\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure that you have all of your materials prepared prior
\nto your Zoom meeting. This includes presentation slides, web pages that you
\nwant to use, applications and so on. A good tip is to have web pages and
\napplications already open on your computer so that you can quickly bring them

The best Zoom events are always well prepared for. You can
\npractice your event on your own before you go live as well and record this so
\nthat you can identify weak areas that need to be addressed. If you fail to plan

2. Get rid of

There is nothing worse than a major distraction in a Zoom
\nevent. If you are explaining a complex concept and suddenly your phone rings then
\nyou are going to lose your audience. You must do everything that you can to
\neliminate distractions.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are hosting your Zoom event from home then keep your
\nchildren and your pets away. Screaming kids and barking dogs are not conducive
\nto a good Zoom business meeting. We get it that you love your kids and your
\npets but they can be a real distraction so do the right thing here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Check your background prior to launching your Zoom meeting.
\nDoes the room you are using look totally cluttered with stuff? If it is then
\nthis will distract your audience and they will quickly form a bad opinion of
\nyou that you want to avoid at all costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Be Interactive<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Nobody wants to attend an hour long Zoom event where the
\nhost just rambles on the whole time. This is very boring for the participants.
\nMake your Zoom events interactive by getting your audience to participate as

One of the best ways to do this is to allow them to ask
\nquestions which you will answer. You can either have questions and answers at
