After over 4 years of being sued by Impossible Foods – we are now less than 2 weeks away from trial.
Unfortunately for them, it hasn’t worked.
To date, the team over at Impossible Foods has gone through 2 CEOs, the founder, (approximately) 17 c-suite executives and 4 different law firms in order to cancel our trademarks. Also, last month their CEO decided to leave the company to join the dairy industry.
So since they have decided to wage full on lawfare against us – I thought I’d have some fun with it and vibe code a war room terminal where you can *monitor the situation* as the case progresses.
You can check it all out at ImpossibleLawsuit.com – it is easily the most interesting lawsuit monitoring website in the world.
They say how you do anything is how you do everything, so we are going to stay consistent, do hard things, and finish strong.
The War Room Terminal
This is the war room quick monitoring dashboard.
You can easily see a bunch of quick stats including
- the number of days, the countdown to trial and
- the numbers of executives that have left the company
- the number of law firms they’ve retained to sue me
- plus a whole bunch of other little details about the case.
If you find any easter eggs here, let me know 🙂
The Timeline
The timeline is a beast. Compiled off public filings and documents at PACER and courtlistener – this goes through all 1790+ days and counting of the lawsuit.
You can see in real time as Impossible Foods sues me, then raises hundreds of millions of dollars and raises the bar to appeal and then double down and go on to sue me personally.
It’s actually hard to remember all the details of the case – so it’s nice that they’re in public documents & PACER and maybe this is an easier way for people who aren’t lawyers to understand the case from start to finish.
Also – there is a whole lot on the timeline that can’t be publicly disclosed, so if you think it’s long now…well – it’s only a fraction of the whole story 🙂

The Dispatch
If you want to see the evolution of the case in video form – take a look. You can see the big overview updates & the short form updates – all in one place.
If you want to watch all the videos from the lawsuit – you can check out everything here.

We also have a twitter handle at @impossiblelegal you can follow along with.
It’s hard to document everything over a 4.5 year adventure, but to the best of my knowledge and public data – I think this is mostly correct. It’s also helpful to have everything in one place to remind you of the things that you have done and the things that you’re capable of.
This might be the longest endurance challenge of my life, but like every other challenge – if you just keep going, take a new step each day, you might be surprised at what you can do.
We’re going to keep going. The trial is less than 2 weeks away.
We are going to keep pushing, do something impossible, and try to tell a great story along the way.
Stay tuned 🙂
JOEL
