Response:

It sounds like you want to ascend the corporate ladder so you can gain financial independence sooner, which will allow you to pursue your spiritual aspirations exclusively.

You need to ask yourself how much time you are realistically going to gain that way, and is it worth the cost you might be paying?

Your values of love, compassion along with your reputation for high professional standards has undoubtedly been noticed by your superiors.

If those qualities are truly valued and rewarded, then you will continue to rise up the organization even if you don’t get involved in the politics and the backbiting.

If you can be content with that, then you can be confident that you are continuing to uphold your spiritual principles even while you continue to work.

That is always a wiser decision than giving up one’s principles now so that you can be more spiritual later.

You only have a choice over your life now.

Even if it means you end up working underneath people you are more competent than, or have seniority over, you will still have the comfort of remaining true to yourself.

Love,

Deepak
