Over time, the silence of gap becomes established firmly enough so that the mental activity of having a thought or intention in the gap does not get in the way of that silence or pull you out of it. So meditate in the way you have been instructed, then when you are finished, do your sutras or intentions afterward while you are still in that silence. In that field of all possibilities, you drop your intention and then let your awareness go back to that wholeness, and then repeat the process for that period of time you are allotting for your intention manifestation practice.
