Notice the pattern? By knowing that chocolate is your weakness, you can actively avoid any form of it. You could even convince yourself that you’re afraid of chocolate!

Now, when it comes to fears, there are many kinds. But in the context of success, the two most common are the fear of failure and the fear of success.

If you struggle with either (or both!), you’ll need to find ways to overcome them.

This method involves working intensely on a specific task for 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute break. You repeat this cycle until your task is complete.

It’s a great way to combat procrastination and improve focus and concentration.

The third common temptation is money. Many people struggle with managing their finances.

With easy access to credit cards, it’s tempting to make impulse purchases just because you can.

A popular way to control this is by sticking to a shopping or grocery list—if an item isn’t on the list, you don’t buy it. Simple and effective!

It should keep you so motivated that failure simply won’t be an option.

You know the rewards that would motivate you the most, so be sure to include those in your system.
